01

Using RemoveColor

These terms apply when you access or use the RemoveColor website and its browser-based color-removal editor. By using the tool, you agree to follow these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

RemoveColor is a focused utility for making selected image colors transparent. It is not an image-hosting service, account platform, professional design suite, or guarantee that every image can be separated cleanly by color.

02

Your images and output

You retain the rights you already hold in images you process and results you create. You are responsible for having permission to use, modify, and export the source material, including logos, signatures, scans, photographs, and third-party artwork.

Processing is performed locally. RemoveColor does not take ownership of your files or receive a license to store, publish, train on, or redistribute image content.

03

Acceptable use

You may not use the site to:

  • violate copyright, privacy, publicity, or other applicable rights;
  • process material when doing so is unlawful in your jurisdiction;
  • interfere with, probe, overload, or attempt to bypass site security;
  • misrepresent an edited image in a fraudulent or harmful way; or
  • redistribute the site itself as if it were your own hosted service.
04

Availability and browser limits

The editor depends on browser features such as Canvas, Web Workers, local memory, image decoding, and downloads. Results and performance may vary by browser, device, source format, image size, compression, and available memory.

The service may change, become temporarily unavailable, or reject files that exceed documented limits. Keep your original image and verify an exported PNG before relying on it in production work.

05

Results and responsibility

RemoveColor is provided on an “as available” basis. Color thresholds cannot reliably separate images where foreground and background share similar colors, and no automated preview replaces your review of the downloaded result.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RemoveColor is not responsible for indirect loss arising from use of the tool, unavailable browser features, or an output that does not meet a particular creative purpose. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.

06

Changes to these terms

Material revisions will be reflected by the updated date above. Continued use after a revision means the current terms apply to that use.

To understand how the browser editor handles files and technical request data, read the Privacy Policy.
